Web Systems is looking to hire SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER
The Senior Web Developer position is a combination of a management and hands-on technical position. As a senior level position, the Senior Web Developer should exhibit superb leadership and communication skills, creative problem-solving skills and novel approaches to technical challenges.
Successful candidates should meet the following requirements:
• Experience in PHP / MySQL development
• Excellent skills in JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, XHTML, XML
• Skills with JSON, jQuery, Prototype is a plus
• Fluent English language;
Management duties include:
• Managing a small team engineers (team might include other programmers and Flash developers)
• Ownership of day-to-day development for client and internal projects
• Defining and maintaining a disciplined development process and policies, including best practices, documentation, version control, and QA methodologies
• Managing relationships with technical partners and vendors, such as hosting companies, aggregators, fulfillment partners, etc.
• Client contact for matters involving technical issues
Hands-on duties include:
• Developing application architecture, algorithms, and classes
• Various levels of hands-on programming
• Developing marketing campaigns for the Web
